And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

Pastor Champion Blackrose Christian was born September 1, 1964 in Chicago, IL.
He married Dr. Ursula Y. Christian and from that union Majesty Champion and Champion Gamaliel were born.
Pastor Christian was a genuine servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ divinely placed in Southwest Fort Worth. He had a heart for God’s people that was expressed in an unorthodox, scholarly delivery of God’s Word. Pastor Christian’s ability to integrate holiness, practical application, and prophecy was an inspirational well of living water purposed to lead the unsaved to salvation and to perfect the saints.
As a father, he trained up his children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). Pastor Christian readily expressed his love and affectionate for his children and demonstrated the love of the Father in heaven. He is their champion.
He truly loved his wife as Jesus Christ loved the Church and gave His life for it (Ephesians 5:25). The genuine and sincere love between Pastor Christian and Mrs. Ursula Christian could not be contained and overflowed into the life of all who knew them or were acquainted with them.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:In accordance with Joel 2:28, on October 15, 1991 God gave Pastor Champion Christian a divine revelation and the vision for a church in Southwest Fort Worth, the neighborhood of his youth.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.With this mandate written upon the table of his heart, three years after the revelation, Pastor Christian established The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on September 1, 1994, his 30th birthday. At 30 years of age, Joseph was exalted over Egypt. At that same age, David was anointed king of Judah. Even our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ began his ministry when he was 30 years old. Following in the footsteps of the King, at age 30, Pastor Christian stepped out on his faith to fulfill Luke 4:18-19.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,After more than 22 years of dedicated pastoral service, Pastor Christian was passionate about fulfilling his calling more than ever before. In an age of ever-growing apostasy, he was still committed to preaching the unadulterated gospel to every creature, healing the brokenhearted, giving to the poor, and teaching the principles of holiness and perfection.
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.Pastor Champion Christian dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and evangelizing. His desire was that men come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, walk circumspectly in holiness and righteousness, prosper, and be in health as their souls prosper. He was looking forward to continuing his mission with a renewed perspective. However, on July 10, 2018 the Lord Jesus Christ called His faithful servant to paradise. Pastor Christian leaves to mourn his wife of 29 years, Dr. Ursula Y. Christian, and their children, Majesty Champion and Champion Gamaliel. But his legacy, ministry, and mission live on …
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
